Naturally, I forgot to write down the new settings, and now I'm having the same problems I had when I first installed Office 2003. I remember having the change the incoming and outgoing "port" settings from the default settings of 110 for incoming and 25 for outgoing to get the program to work. I had to cough up $50 for a "service fee" to get a tech support person from Microsoft to help me out over the phone. My IP, Charter, said they could only help me establish my internet connection, which they did, but said I would have to contact a Microsoft tech support person to get my connection issues resolved with Outlook. ![]() I remember when I first installed it, I had the same problems trying to receive email. ![]() I had to use the "recovery disks" that came with my Toshiba laptop to avoid a hard drive crash, which has forced me to re-install my MS Office 2003 software, which includes my email program, Outlook 2003.
